Our Story
Lineage Culinary is an educational website for all who love food and want to gain a deeper understanding of cooking. We focus on the history of cuisine, science, and technique to elevate your craft whether it’s at home or in a professional setting.
Cooking knowledge is often passed down from one generation to the next, with each descendant adding their own influence to a recipe. My love of cooking was inspired by my grandmother, Nena. Her family originated from Sicily and immigrated to the United States when her mother was a young girl. While she grew up in the south she developed a style of cooking that blended Italian and Southern cuisines. I have fond memories of being in the kitchen with her as she prepared dinner, and her meals were often the center of our family events. Her cooking has inspired my own, along with my experience as a professional chef.
Lineage Culinary is an homage to the cooks in my family and the chefs in my career who have passed on their knowledge to me and made me a better cook. We hope this site does the same for others.

Jeremy Lett is a Corporate Executive Chef for a multi-concept national restaurant chain. He has professional experience in menu development, culinary innovation, kitchen design, equipment, catering, and food styling. He has a passion for learning about food, teaching others, and food photography.
Lauren Lett is an art director and designer whose work encompasses brand identity, advertising, publications, typography, packaging, and all things design. She is also an avid baker who enjoys complementing Jeremy’s delicacies with the perfect sweet treat.
